The email issued a demand for the Indian government to disburse a staggering sum of 5 billion Indian rupees, alongside the conditional release of the infamous criminal, Lawrence Bishnoi, who is presently incarcerated within the confines of Delhi’s Mandoli penitentiary, as per the report published in Hindustan Times.

Moreover, the correspondence further unveiled that the sending faction had meticulously orchestrated a scheme to set in motion a series of violent incursions. This alarming missive, reportedly transmitted from Europe, was promptly intercepted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which subsequently issued an alert to the law enforcement authorities in Mumbai, as outlined by the police.

A police officer elucidated, “We have indeed taken receipt of the communication from the NIA, which in turn has activated a notification to all relevant agencies stationed in disparate locations. Furthermore, we have succeeded in obtaining the source email address employed by the NIA in its correspondence. Preliminary analysis suggests that the origin of this missive is rooted in Europe.” The officer emphasized the commencement of an earnest pursuit to locate the sender and, if deemed necessary, to amplify security protocols during all cricket events. Additionally, there exists a suspicion that this message may be the machination of a prankster or an individual harboring malicious intent on foreign soil, according to the report.

Furthermore, it is pertinent to note that a legal case has already been registered against Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a prominent figure within the Khalistani movement, who stands accused of issuing threats to disrupt the upcoming World Cup matches. Pannun has even articulated a desire for retribution following the assassination of Sikh leader Nijar, an event that transpired a mere three weeks ago.
